Beautiful was shortlisted for the first ever Body Confidence Awards!

I’m honoured and proud to report that Beautiful magazine was shortlisted, along with three high-profile contenders for an award in the publishing/print/broadcast category at the first Body Confidence Awards, held at the House of Commons.

The contenders for the award were:

  • Beautiful magazine
  • Gok’s Teens: The Naked Truth
  • The Guardian Weekend Magazine’s Fashion For All Ages
  • Caitlin Moran’s best selling book, How To Be A Woman

For a new publication, Beautiful sure is doing well and I’m so proud! We didn’t win (the winner was Caitlin Moran) but I’m so thrilled and honoured to have been shortlisted that I don’t care about winning. It’s amazing to have the hard work put into producing the magazine recognised at such a high and public level.

I am a very happy woman indeed!
